Summary of Public Concerns for Lam Tin Hill Section |
| |
During Stage 2 public consultation, the public have expressed the following major concerns on the Lam Tin Hill Section. |
| |
| |
Construction Stage |
| |
Monitoring stations should be set up and data should be disclosed to the public during the construction stage, such that the public could monitor the vibration generated during tunnel blasting. |
| |
Environment |

It was concerned that TKO-LTT would induce noise pollution after commissioning. |
Views on the Alignment |
It was worried that tunnel blasting works might affect existing building foundations and structures, which would increase insurance premium and affect the redevelopment rights. |
The alignment of the tunnel should be avoided from passing underneath the existing buildings. |
It was objected to locate Lam Tin Interchange and ventilation shafts near Kwong Tin Estate. |
